Ask Quinn well, with sources and receipts. In this guide: a specific question, sourced figures, the receipt, and Ask Quinn on other pages.
Quinn works from the question you ask, so make it specific. Name the company or its ticker, the figure, and the period, such as a fiscal year, and ask where the number comes from.
Quinn looks the figure up with a research tool, then writes the answer. It describes companies and data. It does not tell you what to buy or sell.
A figure followed by a small target mark was matched to a tool result. Click the mark to see where it came from: the tool, the source, the form and fiscal year, and the SEC accession number. The tool's raw result is there too.
From there, a link opens the filing itself on SEC EDGAR, so you can check the number against the company's own report.
Verify receipt opens the answer's provenance receipt: a signature over the exact question, the answer and the tools used. Anyone can check it with the verify link. Export audit trail downloads the answer with its sources and the receipt, for your records.
On many pages, an Ask Quinn button asks about what is on the page, here the scenario, and opens the answer in a side panel.
