Financials you can verify. In this guide: Financial Analysis, eleven years side by side, figures that match the filing, the balance sheet and cash flow, and multiples.

On Microsoft's research page, Financial Analysis holds the statements and the ratios built from them: highlights, the three statements, multiples, profitability, solvency and more.

Open Income Statement. A chart traces revenue, net income and margin. Annual or Quarterly switches the period, and the table below holds every reported line.

Up to eleven fiscal years sit side by side, where the filings allow, so you can follow each line across a decade. Each line has a small trend chart beside it.

Figures with an anchor match the company's own SEC filing. This one is the latest year's revenue, from the annual report, the 10-K. Click it, and that filing opens on SEC EDGAR.

The balance sheet and the cash flow statement work the same way. Totals such as total assets, total liabilities and shareholders' equity carry anchors, and so do net income, cash from operations and capital spending.

The statements come from third-party data. An anchor tells you that a figure matches the filing, so you can check it yourself.

Multiples shows each valuation multiple at every period's price, from the last twelve months back, with a forward column built from the analysts' consensus.
